Since earning his degree in Classical Guitar at Austin Peay State University, Derek Williams has made quite a name for himself as an in-demand Nashville guitarist. The versatile musician has toured and/or recorded with over 18 major-label artists and more than 40 bands in genres ranging from pop, Christian, hard rock, metal, R&B, gospel, and country. He’s also played, toured and/or recorded with LeAnn Rimes, Florida Georgia Line, Love and Theft, James Otto, Colt Ford, The JaneDear Girls, Whitney Duncan, Michael English, Big Daddy Weave, Avalon, Kerrie Roberts, and Anthony Evans. Derek has performed on several television and radio shows including the Jimmy Kimmel Show, Conan O’Brien, the ACA Awards Show, the Hart of Dixie, several music videos on CMT and GAC, The Bobby Bones Show, The Grand Ole Opry on 650 WSM, and several more.
Derek currently tours with platinum-selling RCA artist, Jake Owen and spends time investing in aspiring musicians, offering guitar lessons and career mentorship.
